As the stark difference between Caucasian & Asian facial aesthetics is known to all, so a sole organization which will deal with the skin problems of South-Asian people who are in need. Here that void space is going to be filled by SAARC AAD (Association of Aesthetic Dermatology).
First time in SAARC region a dermatology division is coming up with the idea of forming a consortium of aesthetic dermatologists. We, the dermatologists of SAARC regions have taken up the initiative to enhance beauty with our professional aesthetic knowledge & wisdom.
The main purpose of SAARC AAD (Association of Aesthetic Dermatology) :
1- Spread mass awareness about aesthetic dermatology in SAARC countries.
2- Regular training & upgrading of aesthetic knowledge for dermatologists.
3- Short courses/Fellowships/Training programmes for PG students & budding dermatologists.
4- To Organise CME and conferences a regular basis.
5- Provide advice and technical support in buying new equipments and laser technologies.
6- Half yearly SAARC AAD journal & regular newsletters.
